These are some of the most frequently asked questions from potential clients.

Please let me know if there are other questions you would like answered.

What are your qualifications?

I have been working toward this path my entire life.  I am a child of divorced parents and I have spent 50 years figuring it all out.  I am an attorney at law,  and practiced Family Law for more than a decade.  My certification as a Fearless Living Coach was completed on 1/6/2021.

Who are your clients?

My clients learned survival skills as children that only children of divorce understand.  They are exhausted from trying to survive the divorce even decades later.  They are tired of living through the ripples of their parents’ divorce.  Enough is Enough.  They do not want the ripples to continue to affect their life’s, marriages, and children any more.  This is not their burden to carry.  They just do not know how to break free of the patterns and emotions that have been keeping them safe and allowed them to survive the divorce.  If this resonates with you – You are my client.

  • You are still angry and still experience the pain of your parent’s divorce.

  • You still feel like you are walking into a mine field every time you have a family gathering.

  • You have a hard time trusting other people.

  • You do not know how to resolve conflict.

  • You do not know how to have a healthy fight.

  • You do not know how to communicate your needs.

  • You do not know who you are.

  • You grew up in a hostile environment.

  • You still view any holiday as something to get through.

  • Holidays are all about the mental preparation necessary to get through it.

  • You avoid celebrating those big milestones in your life.

  • You still mentally prepare for seeing your parents together or individually.

  • You have to walk on egg shells around your parents.

  • You still have guilt over which parent to see and when.

  • You still feel you have to protect one parent or take sides in the divorce.

This is your journey.  I am your guide.  You will choose to go as deep down the rabbit hole as you will.  I will be there to support you all the way and hold the space for you.  I will be your biggest fan through this process.  The outcome is up to you.  I will give you exercises to contemplate, think about and complete.  The exercises are more effective if you really give the time to reflect and dig for the answers.  And I support you where you are now.  My only request is that you give this journey your best effort.

What is with the Alice in Wonderland theme?

I never cared for Alice in Wonderland as a child.  It hit too close to home in a lot of ways; the Queen of Hearts – literally made me shudder.  Some days I felt small (invisible) some days I felt big – could not get out of the way fast enough.  Who can I Trust – is the Cheshire Cat on my side?  The Rabbit?  Are Tea Parties good?  Where are the traps?  This is a completely different world – how do I find myself and how do I fit in?  Who is in charge now and how did I get on the wrong side of that?

As I look back, I realize there are lessons to be learned from Alice.  Life is an adventure – We get to create it and learn from our adventure as we go.  Embracing my childhood has allowed me to find my life’s purpose – Supporting and teaching others who had similar experiences.   If your ready – join me in the journey through the looking glass.
